To properly set up your domain name and have it direct to your new hosting account, some basic DNS changes are required on your behalf. Once complete, these changes may take up to 48 hours to become effective. Should you have any problems making these DNS changes, please don't hesitate to contact us.
If preferred, we would be happy to make these DNS changes for you and would simply require your username & password for your account at your domain registrar (ie: Godaddy).

Certain DNS (Domain Name Server) changes will need to be made to 'point' your domain name to your new Silver Barrel hosting account. As one of the largest domain name registrars, we have chosen to use Go Daddy as our example in showing you these changes. Please note that there are many different domain registrars who will undoubtable have different procedures for making these changes. If you didn't buy your domain name from Go Daddy, please contact your domain registrar for the further details on how to perform these changes.

Email Accounts
If you've requested any email accounts and plan to set them up in your favourite email application like Outlook or Outlook Express, here is some information that you will need:

Web Email
To check your email via the internet from any computer, visit the following link:

and enter your username & password for the desired email account.
Email Redirects
We would be happy to have any of your new email addresses 'redirected' to one (or several) other email accounts. This is a great feature if you want several people in your organization to recieve the emails from a specific account. For example, info@yourdomain.com could be automatically sent to you and the members your sales team.

Billing & Tech Support
All of our website hosting accounts are billed through our hosting division called 'Silver Barrel Solutions'. You will be receiving our invoice shortly. Your hosting account will be billed for a 1 year period, saving you the price of 1 month with your annual payment. If you choose to pay on a monthly basis, please contact us and we will gladly make those arrangements with you.
