Tests and Exams
Students are encouraged to complete all unit assignments or projects in each module before writing the unit tests. Most tests and exams are completed online. In some courses, your online teacher must provide you with a password to access the online unit test. Please be certain to contact your online teacher when you are ready to write your test or exam.
Some courses require the midterm or final exam to be written in a supervised environment. Students can arrange to write at the WestShore Centre for Learning & Training at 814 Goldstream Ave., or school-age students may make arrangements with their home school.
Provincial Exams
School-age students presently attending another high school should write the exam at their home school. Students need to verify with their school that an exam will be available.
Students who are not attending any other high school will write the provincial exams at WestShore Centre for Learning & Training, at 814 Goldstream Ave.
Please note the following:
Photo ID is required for all Grade 11 and Grade 12 exams to write exams at WestShore Centre.
Starting July 2006, photo identification is required for all Grade 10, 11 and 12 exams.
Acceptable student ID includes a GoCard, BC Identification Card or a driver’s licence.
Students must provide their own pens, pencils and appropriate calculators. Scrap paper will be provided at the exam site.
No pagers or cell phones are permitted during the exams.
