How it Works
Courses begin every month. The first lesson starts on a Wednesday (usually the third Wed of the month)
Courses are six weeks in duration, with 2 lessons per week available. Each new lesson comes available on either a Wed or Friday, but you can do the lesson any day of the week, any time of day, once it comes available.
Each course includes:
- Twelve (12) powerful, well-written lessons, supplemented with instructor-led discussion communities, interactive assignments, quizzes and more. Quizzes and a final evaluation.
- Certificate of completion. A certificate will be mailed on notification of successful completion. (75 % or better)

Getting Started
Visit our Online Instruction Center
- Go to www.ed2go.com/cec
- Click the Courses link. Enter the name of your course or topic in Search for courses. Or select the department and course title you are interested in. Read the course description and outline.
Be sure you read the course requirements. If taking a computer application course, you MUST have the correct version of software.
- Select the Enroll Now button. Follow the instructions to enroll. Enter your email address and choose a password that will grant you access to the classroom.
- Contact the WestShore Centre registration office at 250-391-9002 to pay for the course.
NOTE: WestShore Centre does not accept payment over the Internet.
- Once registered and paid, WestShore Centre will email you a confirmation letter outlining your start and end dates.
- On or after the designated start date, return to the Online Instruction Center or go to www.ed2go.com/cec and click the Classroom link. To begin your studies, simply log in with the email address and password you selected during enrollment.
NOTE: You must complete # 1 - 3 and enroll online for your course before the release of the third lesson. After that time, you will not be able to access the course for that month.
