Jump Ahead Foundation
Preparing a foundation for success
Jump Ahead Foundations helps students who are in Grade 8, 9 or 10 but are not quite ready for entry into grade 10 to 12 programs build a solid academic foundation. Class size is kept small and students work as a cohort with one teacher, creating strong relationships and a sense of community in the classroom. Learning gaps in numeracy and literacy skills are specifically targeted.
Students work together as a group in a supportive small class environment.
Classes are Monday to Thursday, 8:45 am – 3:00 pm with Friday tutorials 8:45 – 11:30 am.
This program is September to June. Some spaces may be available for February intake.
Program credits include:
- English 9
- Math 9
- Science 9
- Social Studies 9
- Business Education 10
- Learning Strategies 10
- Physical Education 10
