Jump Ahead Gr 10-12 Program
The Jump Ahead Program provides a blend of classroom instruction, guided online, projects and community activities in a safe, small group environment for grades 10, 11 and 12 students.
The Jump Ahead Program takes a blended approach to student success, offering:
- direct teacher instruction
- distance learning
- tutorials (monitored independent work).
Students experience a learning environment with small group instruction, guided online, independent work and community-based activities.
Students:
- Build a solid foundation of literacy and numeracy skills.
- Develop self-confidence, self-management and interpersonal skills.
- Get involved in the community.
- Complete grade 10, 11 & 12 courses in Math, English, Social Studies and Science.
- Participate in non-competitive physical, environmental and community activities.

Classes are:
Mon to Thurs, 8:45 am to 3:00 pm
Fridays, 8:45 - 11:30 am
Program runs September to June. Some new registrations are accepted for February to June.
Classes are located at WestShore Centre - 814 Goldstream Ave in Langford and WestShore Annex - 2139 Sooke Rd in Colwood

The Teachers:
 Dawn Anderson & Tanya Berg are enthusiastic teachers who love teaching and learning. They enjoy sharing these passions with their students. Both have successful track records with our online and teacher-directed courses at WestShore. Dawn and Tanya make a great team with their extensive training and experience in outdoor rock climbing, cycling, white water kayaking and leave no trace camping. Jump Ahead with them as they make this program an exciting success for you!
